F.A.(F.)Q's: Frequently Asked Fitness Questions

After my last flavored water experiment, I tried making lemon-lime water this week. My husband was a bigger fan of this one than the cucumber mint.


Also, just this morning, I noticed that our neighbors FINALLY cut down the hay in the pasture behind our house. It's been fun watching them bale it over the course of the day!

Speaking of FINALLY, Wes and I finally got rolling on our plan to landscape the front walkway. When we moved in, we noticed that we had an overgrowth of this stuff:


Myrtle spurge. Heh. Funny name, not so hilarious INVASIVE species. They should call it Zombie Spurge because not only is this stuff impossible to kill but it spreads its INFECTION everywhere! I'm pulling up little sprouts of this stuff constantly. Fun fact: this plant is (ironically) illegal in Colorado.

Basically the spurge took over and murdered everything in our front walkway. So we had to go in and do some recon.

I think we can do it. Ugh, landscaping/gardening is one of those things I'm just not very good at. With home ownership, I'm learning. It just takes me a while to get the hang of it. And a lot of Googling for answers!

  1. The meaning of life? Now that's a loaded question! I believe it would be different for everyone. The big thing is to live. Live how you want to live, not how society thinks you should live. Don't let anyone or anything get in the way of what you want. Say what you want to say. Do what you want to do. Life is short! Have fun and enjoy it! Try new things, adventures! Don't stay around the people that bring you down. Tell people that are close to you how much they mean to you. You may not get the chance.
